Danny Rose to run down his contract

Danny Rose has revealed that he intends to run down his contract with Tottenham Hotspur, as reported exclusively by .

The left-back joined Spurs initially from Leeds United back in 2007, but the early part of his spell in North London was mostly spent on loans, at Watford, Peterborough United, Bristol City and Sunderland. However, he became a first-team regular following his return from the North-East in 2013, and his numbers in a Spurs shirt now read 206 games and 10 goals in all competitions. He has also been capped 29 times for England.

But his time with the club is set to come to an end when his contract expires in 18 months. He seems to have been keen to sign a new one, but he claims he s been told by chairman Daniel Levy that he wouldn t offered one. In return, he has told Levy that he has no intention of leaving the club before the current one expires, which means he will leave in the summer of 2021 as a free agent, at the age of 31.
