data-mm-id=”_en290zj9g”>Lamar Jackson got his first playoff win, which is a good learning experience for the third-year quarterback as he continues his development as a professional football player. Another lesson he and the Ravens need to learn? How to win with class. After the Ravens wrapped up their 20-13 win over the Titans in the Wild Card round on Sunday, Jackson ran off the field and into the tunnel toward the Ravens locker without shaking hands with his vanquished foes. Simultaneously, he waved for his teammates to join him, which many did, leaving the Titans players on the field to shake hands with the few Ravens stragglers who remained to graciously wish their fallen opponents farewell. If we're going to call out Tom Brady for doing these things, we have to call out Jackson too. pic.twitter.com/uq91yJEDnr— Viral Sports (@NotScTop10plays) January 10, 2021Marcus Peters followed Jackson's example, running off the field without shaking hands with the Titans. The only difference was Peters yelled profanities at the Titans on his way out and had to be directed off the field by a Ravens coach. Like Isiah Thomas's Pistons refusing to shake hands with Michael Jordan's Bulls after the latter finally vanquished the former in the playoffs, this is horrible sportsmanship. While you may feel animosity toward your opponent during the game, show them respect afterward. It's not too much to ask one quarterback to shake hands with the other, as is customary in the NFL and as Ryan Tannehill would have done if the roles were reversed. Had this been the only disrespectful element of the Ravens win, this article wouldn't exist. However, Peters authored his own a few minutes before Jackson. After securing the game-sealing interception, Peters ran to the Titans logo and flamboyantly celebrated on it along with his teammates, which resulted in a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty. Even Ravens legend Ed Reed called him out for it. Love my ravens but win with class.— Ed Reed (@TwentyER) January 10, 2021The Titans stomped on the Ravens logo before their regular-season game this year, which resulted in a skirmish, and beat Baltimore in the playoffs last year, so I get the idea of payback's a bitch. But these actions come across as an immature team unaccustomed to the intricacies of how to handle one's self in victory because they haven't been there before.

The New England Patriots’ 10-7 straight up record in 2021 was smoke and mirrors.
It was spawned from a soft stretch of schedule that allowed the Pats to take advantage of some downtrodden and injury-depleted teams, culminating in the infamous wind game in Buffalo. A 1-3 SU finish to the schedule and playoff pounding from the Bills pulled the curtain back on Bill Belichick’s illusion.
The 2022 Patriots have a roster that’s about as drab as the head coach’s wardrobe, and Belichick is pulling double duty after losing long-time offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to Las Vegas. That leaves the maturation of QB Mac Jones in the “capable” hands of Joe Judge and Matt Patricia — neither of which specialize in offense and…

Early on Sunday morning I was walking through my local park in south London, where around eight guys were playing football on the grass. At one stage, one of them ran clean through: round the keeper, goal at his mercy, only to roll the ball wide. “Daniel James!” he exclaimed to himself as he went to fetch it. “Daniel James,” he muttered again, shamefaced and still furious. And before long, all his mates were calling him “Daniel James” as well.
About eight hours later, the real Daniel James was charging towards goal at Stamford Bridge in that rapid but largely innocuous style of his. Has there ever been an attacking player who ran so fast while carrying so little perceived threat? When we think of the game’s great speed merchant…
In what was a nail-biting Champions League showdown on Wednesday night, Bayern Munich clinched their semi-final ticket as they secured a 1-0 victory against Arsenal at the Allianz.
With the German giants putting in a gritty performance in north London last week as they claimed a first-leg 2-2 stalemate, it was midfield talisman Joshua Kimmich who proved to be Bayern’s hero here.
Watching the Germany international produce a thunderous header in the 63rd-minute, Wednesday’s hosts will now turn their attention to a heavyweight semi-final battle against Real Madrid.
Despite being unable to call upon the likes of Serge Gantry and Kingsley Coman here, Bayern cashed in on an Arsenal squad who failed to find any real fluidity away from the Emirates.

When Cristiano Ronaldo touched down in Turin, it sparked pandemonium in northern Italy, but drew a collective gasp from Juventus rivals.
Already enjoying a stranglehold on Italian football, the seven-time reigning Serie A champions had just signed one of the all-time greats from Real Madrid.
The addition of Ronaldo to a squad overflowing with quality – plus the arrivals of Emre Can, Joao Cancelo, Mattia Perin and the return of Leonardo Bonucci – has Juve as favourites yet again to claim an eighth successive Scudetto, though the Bianconeri s transfer business also has Massimiliano Allegri primed to deliver a coveted European crown.
Juve have only won two Champions League titles having lost five finals since 1996, so Ronaldo s arrival has the club fighting on a…
Arsenal go into this game knowing that a continuation of their current ifne form could carry them even closer to the precipice of the Premier League, whereas Burnley will look to halt what appears to be an alarming slide towards the foot of the table.
Arsene Wenger is never one to talk down the ability of his team, but his relative silence on their credentials this season would appear to suggest he is happy for his players to do the talking on the field. After last weeks win over Stoke City, This Arsenal team will want to show that their skill can outshine the crude play of other teams, after Aaron Ramsey was scythed down by Ryan Shawcross last week. The young midfielder will be out for the rest of the season with a broken leg and his colleagues will be keen to show that whatev…
